Discover the newest attraction in Foz
Known as the Land of Waterfalls, the city of Foz do Iguaçu is one of the most popular destinations in Brazil, with strong tourism, including incredible attractions, such as the Iguaçu Falls, Parque das Aves and the Itaipu Power Plant, among many others. , now you will have an Aquarius.
That's right! The city of waters will now have a new attraction, AquaFoz, which will begin construction in the second half of 2021, with delivery expected for 2023.

AquaFoz will be built in a private area of 23,000 square meters, right at the entrance to the Iguaçu National Park, next to the Visitor Center, on BR-469, and will hold approximately 3.5 million liters of water.
With a focus on research, education and conservation of ecosystems in the Paraná and Iguaçu river basins, this will be a unique experience for tourists, full of learning about local biodiversity.
The project will be led by Grupo Cataratas, a company that was born in Foz do Iguaçu, and is currently elected as the most sustainable company in the tourism and hospitality sector in Brazil, according to Exame Magazine.
The Cataratas group already has a great victory in this niche, which is the Aquarium Marinho do Rio, AquaRio, one of the most important attractions in Rio de Janeiro.

Visitor Center
Right at the entrance to the Iguaçu National Park, the Visitor Center already displays some of the options for those arriving at the attraction. An example is the Interactive Museum, which tells the story of the Park from discovery to official creation. And in addition to the cafeteria, snack bar and souvenir shop with personalized products, it is also possible to take a Helisul helicopter to visit the Iguaçu National Park and the Iguaçu Falls in a 10-minute flight.
Poço Preto trail
Effectively entering the Park, and using the ecological buses, it is possible to get off at five different stops, but in particular, at the second, where the Poço Preto Trail is located, a 9 km Eco-adventure through the path that the Indians used to get around the nature. This route can be covered on foot, by bicycle or by cart. Upon reaching the Poço Preto pier, it is possible to climb a 10-meter casemate to observe the alligator lagoon.
Banana Trail
At the third point, the tourist knows two attractions: the Banana Tree Trail and the Macuco Safari. The Trilha das Bananeiras is a 1.5 km ecological walk, done on foot or in electric cars, which ends at a pier where the motor boats are located to go up the Iguaçu River, to the Poço Preto pier, to see the casemate and go to the Ilha das Taquaras Archipelago.
Macuco Safari
Still on the third stop, the Macuco Safari enchants a large part of the public that comes to Foz do Iguaçu and visits the National Park. For those who are fans of adventure, Macuco Safari is certainly the best option. Within the attraction, you are guaranteed a walk through trails, waterfalls and a boat trip that ends with a bath in the falls of the Iguaçu Falls.
