Argentine Falls: Tour Guide, Tips, Prices, Schedules and More!

We already talked about another blog post about the incredible tour that is to know the waterfalls of Iguaçu on the Brazilian side. But, did you know that it is also possible to enjoy this Wonder of Nature on the Argentinean side?

Thinking about it, we prepared a super complete guide for you to know the waterfalls in Argentina. Check out!

Iguazu Falls: Argentine Side

Two-thirds of the waterfalls are located on the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls. Therefore, it is possible to have a privileged view of the great waterfalls – and one of the most surprising is precisely from the top of the canyons.

In all, six trails are included in the ticket price: Trilha Verde, Circuito Superior, Circuito Inferior, Devil's Throat, Macuco Trail and Arrechea Falls. It is also possible to move the Jungle Ecological Train, which takes passengers from the park entrance to the access to the main trails.

Even those who opt for the train will find long walks ahead; therefore, the tip is to choose a airy and comfortable footwear. Another important point is the time chosen for the tour: early in the morning it's the best time to enjoy the mild sun and contemplate the entire park. After all, there is a lot to do and see there.

A good idea is to reserve the whole day for the tour and choose which ones unmissable tours in the Falls of Argentina. See some tips:

Devil's Throat

The trail has a little more than a thousand meters and leads to the most imposing fall from the Iguazu Falls: The Devil's Throat.

Different from the view from the Brazilian side, in Argentina the visitor contemplates the waterfall from the top, with the water passing under the feet.

Lower Circuit

It is a trail of 1400m, which runs through the base of several falls inside the Atlantic Forest. Depending on the river level, it is from the Lower Circuit that the boat leaves for San Martín Island – a small island located right in the middle of the Iguaçu River, with a trail and views of the Devil's Throat.

Upper Circuit

As its name suggests, the Upper Circuit walks the path over the falls. The trail is about 1700m long and offers one of the most complete views of the park.
