What is SkydiveFoz?
SkydiveFoz is a skydiving school that has been operating since 2013. The focus is tandem jumps, where anyone can jump with a parachute together with an instructor. After six years of activity, more than 20,000 jumps have already been performed there, making the company a reference in Brazil and Latin America.
How Are Jumps Made?
SkydiveFoz offers the modality of double jump, where you are connected to an instructor the entire way from freefall to landing, no experience needed. Only previous training is done on site before the jump.
Generally, parachute jumps in Foz do Iguaçu are done at a height of 10,000 feet. The plane takes around 20 minutes to reach the necessary height for the jump, then 30 seconds of free fall at 220 km/h and approximately 8 minutes of navigation after opening the parachute until landing.
The jumps are carried out in the region close to the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant and, therefore, it is possible to have a privileged view of the entire area of the triple border. From up there you will see the Itaipu Dam, the Friendship Bridge and even the Iguaçu Falls.

Safety Conditions and Tips
To be able to jump with a parachute in Foz do Iguaçu, some rules must be followed:
- The minimum age for jumping is 18 years old. Children under 16 years old can only jump with authorization registered in a notary by their parents or with their presence at the time of the jump.
- The jump depends on weather conditions and may be postponed or canceled depending on the weather at the time.
- The use of open sandals, boots or high heels is not allowed. Tennis shoes or sports shoes only.
- The weight limit is 95 kg (including clothes and shoes), exceeding this limit a fee is charged per excess kilo. People weighing more than 110 kg must consult conditions with the SkydiveFoz team.
- Skydiving in Foz do Iguaçu is prohibited if you have been scuba diving, consumed alcohol or donated blood in the last 24 hours. Pregnant women are also prevented from jumping due to security measures.
