Agreement to reopen the Tancredo Neves International Bridge
The health security protocol drawn up by the Trinational Development Council (Codetri) proposes the reopening of the Tancredo Neves International Bridge, in two stages, from December 10th (Thursday). The proposal requires the partial resumption of the border flow between Argentina and Brazil with the implementation of a pilot plan, starting on the 10th.
The protocol for the gradual and safe reopening of the Tancredo Neves Bridge provides for two stages:
- 1st Phase (15 days duration): daily ticket in Argentina and Brazil, developed jointly between the two countries, contemplating tourists and particularities of the border community. The Tancredo Neves Dias Bridge would operate from Monday to Sunday, from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, leaving from 7:00 am to 1:00 am.
- 2nd Phase: expansion of the number of people authorized to enter and leave countries via the Tancredo Neves Bridge and access times. Remembering that there will be a review of the operation staggered every 15 days.
