In ceremony, hotel guarantees safety seal through new hygiene protocols with protected environment
The Hotel Del Rey Quality, in Foz do Iguaçu, received this Thursday (13), the certification of health responsibility and Protected Environment Seal. The delivery ceremony was attended by several city authorities, including Mayor Chico Brasileiro, and took place at the headquarters of the Commercial and Industrial Association of Foz do Iguaçu (ACIFI).
According to Faisal Ismail, president of ACIFI, “this Seal of Protected Environment validates the sanitary control of hotels, restaurants and tourist elements in Foz, thus providing tranquility to visitors and residents of the region”. The president of the Commercial and Industrial Association of Foz do Iguaçu also points out that “until there is a vaccine, the Seal is fundamental to demonstrate care, both with the environment and with the people who work in it”.
Assigned by the Municipal Secretariat for Tourism, Industry, Commerce and Strategic Projects, the Municipal Tourism Council (Comtur) and Sebrae-PR, the Seal declares that tourist attractions, means of accommodation, restaurants and other establishments comply with health safety protocols in confronting to Covid-19.
For Augusto Stein, Regional Manager of Sebrae in the West, “the Seal generates, mainly, a bond of trust with the visitor and the tourist. We know that there will be impacts after this crisis and that the movement will gradually return. So, the destination and enterprise that manage to pass this image of security tend to gain an important advantage in the market”.
Among the more than 30 items evaluated, are the demand by the place for the mandatory use of the mask, fever measurement, use of sanitizing mats, gel alcohol dispensers around the place and sanitization of the environment.
Jaime Mendes, director of the Del Rey Quality Hotel, explains that “this is a historic moment that we are living, where the hotel passed several criteria to be able to reopen, taking into account all the hygiene care, together with our employees and guests. Therefore, the delivery of this Seal is, without a doubt, our concern in offering a really safe environment for this tourist who comes to Foz”.
