Del Rey Quality Hotel: Safety as a Priority
Del Rey cares about the well-being and safety of our guests, which is why hygiene and safety protocols in the hotel industry are strictly followed. Some of the procedures and measures adopted are:
- Cleaning and disinfection of areas where guests and employees circulate;
- Opening doors and windows for air circulation in closed areas;
- Dispensers with 70% alcohol and gel alcohol available in all common areas;
- Distance of places in common areas for guests (chairs, sunbeds, armchairs) of at least 2 meters;
- Disinfection of high-touch surfaces (elevator buttons, doorknobs, switches, counters).

The Responsible Tourism Seal was an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism to establish good hygiene practices for the tourism sector.
The seal works as an incentive for tourists to feel safer when traveling, as a guarantee that the places that have the seal are duly complying with prevention actions against COVID-19.
The tourism segments that are participating in the Responsible Tourism Seal are:
- Lodging Means;
- Turism agencies;
- Tour Guides;
- Event Organizers;
- Thematic parks;
- Restaurants, Cafeterias, Bars and similar;
- exhibition centers;
- Water Parks;
- Tourist Camps;
- Show Houses;
- Car rental agencies;
- Tourist Carriers;
- Marinas and Sport Fishing Enterprises.
City Seal
In Foz do Iguaçu there is also the Sanitary Safety Certificate in accordance with municipal decrees n° 28.114, 28.148 and 28.204.
Lodging facilities, tourist attractions, restaurants, event spaces, travel agencies, tourist transport and other tourist activities receive visits from Sebrae consultants who check the protocols at the locations.
The certification is an action of the Secretary of Tourism of Foz and the Industry of Commerce in partnership with Sebrae-PR, with support from Comtur (Municipal Council of Tourism). And, of course, the Del Rey is one of the hotels in Foz do Iguaçu that has this seal.
